The Hubble Space Telescope has spotted the largest comet ever detected.

A comet is a mass of ice, frozen gases, and dust that travels around the sun. The giant comet, called Bernardinelli-Bernstein, is larger than the state of Rhode Island! Its nucleus, or icy center, measures about 80 miles in diameter. That’s almost 50 times larger than most comets. But don’t worry; this colossal comet will never get closer than 1 billion miles away from the sun. Its orbit is far from Earth’s neighborhood in the solar system.
